So the verdict is in and unfortunately Extol of Agnatic Dreams was not chosen for Kindle Scout.

I suppose I am dealing with this news better than people expected because a lot of people keep asking if I am ok and if I need to talk about it. I feel like people expected me to be grieving when really it is just another rejection letter to add to the list. I am not grieving for Extol of Agnatic Dreams because it will be a book still.

I have already been working on formatting the paperback edition and created the wrap around cover for it.

Kindle Scout was not the only way Extol will live, and I went into the campaign expecting to be rejected. I suppose I am also not mourning what could have been because I gave the campaign my all. I advertised, I used all the tricks I knew and did lots of research to see what kind of approaches worked for other people.

I have no regrets about this campaign, and while it sucks to say that Extol was not chosen, it is not the end and now that the fates have decided I can move on with self-publishing.

The second question most people ask me is if I would do it again, and the answer is yes. I think it is a good system, well good enough considering the internet is a big place with many different opinions, and I would be interested to see how Visceral Urn does. I think it might appeal more to the Kindle Scout people and readers. So look out for that coming up eventually lol

Thank you to everyone who nominated, but I am honestly ok. I have so much work to do before Supanova I honestly do not have time to worry about anything except meeting those deadlines.
