the difference one letter makes

I could go into a huge thing about spelling and grammar. Everyone knows we don't have enough people preaching about the proper use of language techniques on the internet. I could even show you online messages where people have kindly pointed out that I am not spelling words correctly. I state again, I didn't create English. I just use it. As an Australian, it means I put the letter U into some words. Colour isn't spelt wrong, you are just ignorant.
This blog is actually about bringing awareness to how important one little letter is. In this case, it is the letter R. Why that letter? Of all the letters I could choose from, and there are plenty of letters that deserved to be showcased, it is the letter R because today it is the letter giving me the most grief. Mostly because I didn't stop and think about it when setting up my accounts when publishing. Technically this isn't R's fault. Human error and all that.
Basically, I forgot that my Pen Name Jennifer R Kenny is important when there are so many names that double up. Just do a google search of your own name and see how many pop up. when you're a drop in the ocean, you need to stand out. That was the reason behind using my middle initial for posting. Narrow down the search results.
However, when I first published Trammel - just one month ago - there was no field for the middle initial letter. R didn't have a place and I didn't think it mattered to much. Boy was I wrong. It stops sites from linking my author profiles to my work. WHAT! I know. The importance of a single letter is now forcing me to edit all my published work to add that little letter in the middle of my names.
As if my week isn't long enough already...
