Falling off the hot and trending list is not a good feeling. Yesterday I was trending for twenty hours. That was incredible to see the statistics and see that for a majority of the day I was up there with the best of them and being seen by the world. I felt like maybe I had a real chance with this whole mission.

Then this morning I woke up and saw I had dropped off that list. From what I saw on other blogs, staying in the hot and trending doesn't mean that you get the elusive contract, but you need to get in there so they give you a look and make a decision. So of course, you want to be in this hot and trending list as often as possible.

As others have said, there are only so many people you can beg, borrow and steal from. You can't just make nominations appear, and the whole thing runs on a vote once policy. Three days into the program and I have come to the end of my short list of contacts. So what do I do for the next 27 days?

I have paid advertisements on Facebook and Twitter, which statistics show are sending people to my campaign which is good to know. Those end on the 6th of March. I have a few little ideas but will it be enough? I can not be sure and no one seems to have the answer. In theory, the 37 hours I have managed to stay on that Hot and Trendy list is enough for a real person to be reviewing my book. In theory, my fate may already be sealed. It is also just a possible that I was missed, and so I need to those nominations to make it back to that trending section.

As I went to retrieve the link up there, I am pleased to see that Extol of Agnatic Dreams is once again trending. For how long? I have no idea. But the ads will continue, the constant messages will appear, and I might sacrifice a goat. I am already letting my other writing fail because I am so focused on Extol right now.
